Hogansburg, NY (October 10, 2014) – Heart to Heart Fitness Center recently donated the proceeds of their first annual 9k race to the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club. The race took place on September 27th in Hogansburg and 124 participants.
Heart to Heart donated $1,000, Tarbell Management Group donated $1,000, men’s first place winner Mark Whalen donated $100 of his winnings, and Isabel McDonald donated $42 for a total donation of $2,142.
Heart to Heart’s General Manager, Roger Allen said he’s looking forward to next year’s race and that he’d like to offer “thanks to all the race volunteers from both Tarbell Management Group and the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club that helped make the race a success!” Heart to Heart would also like to thank all of the race sponsors: In Motion Physical Therapy, SeaComm, Tarbell Management Group, LLC, Tim Hortons, Bear’s Den, Italian Affair, H&R Block, EconoFuel, IBC, Phoenix Physical Therapy, Coca-Cola, Glazier’s Packing Company, King Clark Insurance, Harry King of King’s Marina, Cook’s Greenery, and Jock Pest Control for assisting in some of the costs of the event.”
