Hogansburg, N.Y. (July 7, 2011) – The Tarbell Management Group (TMG) announced today that later this month it will break ground on a $3 Million expansion project of its Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel Franchise located adjacent to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. The expansion project will add 37 new rooms and an indoor pool with a patio to the existing 64 room hotel giving the hotel a total of 101 rooms. The expansion will also include a renovation to the hotel lobby, breakfast area and a majority of all public spaces. Jim Brann, Comfort Inn General Manager said “the expansion will improve the hotel and the community’s accommodation tremendously” and will provide additional rooms that we needed at peak hotel times—on weekends and on holidays. Brandon Tarbell, TMG CEO said that he is “excited about the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s planned expansion project” and “this will benefit our hotel expansion”.
