Akwesasne, NY (November 2, 2015)—Heart to Heart Fitness Center recently donated the proceeds of their second annual 9k Walk and Run Race to the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club. 148 participants came out to walk and run on September 26th. With more sponsors and more walkers and runners registered this year than last year, Heart to Heart was able to raise $3,271.06 for the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club.
Heart to Heart’s General Manager, Roger Allen said he’s looking forward to next year’s race and that he’d like to offer “thanks to all the race volunteers from both Tarbell Management Group and the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club, as well as all of our many generous sponsors, that helped make the race a success!”
